Ginger is loaded with antioxidants, relieves pain, prevents stress and damage to DNA. Ginger fights off chronic diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, and diseases of the lungs, plus promotes healthy aging.

Adding ginger to your parrots' diet is a great way to get benefits from this root. Along with ginger, there will be sweet potato or pumpkin which adds the much-needed vitamin A, and other vitamins and minerals for a healthy parrot recipe.
